This couple from Colorado completed a visit to ALL 63 parks. They also have visited all of the national parks 412 units. I believe it means that NPS is in charge of not only parks, monuments, etc. She must have been a teacher, she was so excited. She even completes the jr. ranger programs and collects the jr. ranger merit badges! Another couple was from Sacramento. They had their picture taken too with a certificate for completing the 63 parks. Someday, their kids will throw that certificate away! But like our little cancelation book, it's the journey & memories not the passport!
It is hot, humid, green & growing. And yes, I do hike with a fanny pack:)
Muddy hike, so much for that pedicure!
Ended the hike with a trip to the laundromat!
