Hurricane Gabrielle changed our plans

We flew from Sydney to Wellington and then took a helicopter across bay to Blenheim!
 

We were supposed to fly into Auckland from Sydney, but a hurricane hit Northland and Auckland is shut down with high winds, flooding and the after effects of a hurricane.


Safety instructions and life vests ready! Here we GO!

Suitcases loaded, now the passengers!

I was a little nervous, but it was a smooth enjoyable ride!

Home Sweet Home!
